First of many...

The first post on my "ROAR" book; The Catcher in the Rye.
Pages 1-21

5. -He was just kicked out of his school Pency Prep.
-He doesnt have alot of freinds.
-Hes really has a bond with his history teacher (even though its one of the 4 classes he's been flunking)
-The only class he does well in is English.
-He always seems depressed, and even admits it.

4. -Why is his bond so strong with his history teacher, but not his english?
- Why does he feel the need not to try?
-What will his parents reactions be when they find out hes been kicked out of another school?
-What are hes plains for the future?

3. -Grippe (p8) : Pathology
-Alternative (p13): A choice limited to one of two or more possibilities, as of things, propositions, or courses of action, the selection of which precludes any other possibility.
-Qualms (p14): A sudden feeling of sickness, faintness, or nausea.

2. -"his teeth, they always looked mossy and awful. (p19)-Metaphor
-"he started handling my paper like it was a turd or something." (p11)-Simile

1. -So FAr, hes been kicked out of schools already, so its nothing new, and on his way home to explain the bad news to his parents.
